Jack Curtis is a performer, songwriter and producer who has been making music since the 1980s Jack has performed with a variety of artists from many genres for over 20 years. Growing up in a musical household with a multi-talented Trad Jazz musician father, Jacks love affair with music started from an early age. After a month long trip to the Caribbean at the age of 5 Jack's musical ear was open and music became his life. He started writing his own UK Ska tracks by the time he was eight and had taught himself how to play the drums. When Jack turned nine he was already playing side drum in Traditional Jazz marching bands. He was then introduced to Jamaican Ska music. Listening to an extremely wide range of music growing up and particularly loving Hip Hop he was eventually introduced to Dancehall Reggae music. Jack started listening to sound tapes (Coxsone Outernational, Black Star, Cosmic Force) and soon realized that he wanted to be a Singer/Dee Jay so he started writing lyrics again.
