BRC are currently recording a new 11 track album due for release mid-2014. These new songs all written by frontman, Ben Russell, feature environmental issues you would expect from a reggae band, but also tales of love and compassion blended in the summer sounding reggae. Born and bred in Wollongong “The City of Beaches” on the East Coast of Australia, his passion for surfing and snowboarding can be felt within the earthy acoustic tunes and soulful beat of reggae. Ben’s passion for music has found him on stages throughout Australia, Canada, France and the UK. He is an extremely talented and confident lead guitarist with an infectious passion 4 music. AND THE CHARMERS MEL KOCAK- Vocals/ Keys/ Percussion An Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts graduate, Mel, is the bands remaining original ‘Charmer’. Coming from a theatre background, she adds powerful vocal technique and harmony. KEV MACLEOD- Bass/ Backing Vocals A singer/ songwriter by trade, Kev, took up bass 8 years ago and has since found his secret love for fat reggae bass lines. After all bass players do like it deeper!?  JAMES BARBER- Drummer A recently converted rock drummer, James, has taken on the reggae rhythm in a whole different meaning, adding his technical talent and even handed approached to the reggae beat.
